Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Anomaly Index ("the Service"), operated by Brady Yaddof (Sole Proprietor), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Anomaly Index is an AI-powered digital tool that allows users to input parameters and receive generated analyses of anomalous entities. The Service uses artificial intelligence and web search to produce creative and research-based content. All generated content is for entertainment, creative, and educational purposes only.

3. User Accounts

To access certain features, you must sign in using Google OAuth through our authentication provider (Supabase). By signing in, you agree that:

• The information associated with your Google account is accurate.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
• You will not share or transfer your account to others.
• You are at least 13 years of age, or have parental/guardian consent.

4. Scans (Digital Currency)

The Service uses a digital currency called "Scans." Each Scan allows you to run one AI-powered analysis. Key points:

• New users receive 2 free Scans upon account creation.
• Additional Scans may be purchased through our store via Gumroad.
• Scans are non-transferable between accounts.
• Scans have no monetary value outside the Service and cannot be exchanged for cash.
• We reserve the right to modify pricing, promotional offers, and the number of free Scans provided to new users at any time.

5. Purchases and Payments

All purchases are processed through Gumroad, a third-party payment provider. By making a purchase, you also agree to Gumroad's Terms of Service. Please review our Refund Policy for information about refunds and cancellations.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to promote illegal activity.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise exploit the Service's underlying technology.
• Circumvent or attempt to circumvent usage limits, authentication, or payment systems.
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access the Service.
• Submit content designed to produce harmful, abusive, or illegal output.
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with any entity.

7. AI-Generated Content

Content generated by the Service is produced by artificial intelligence and should not be treated as factual, scientific, or professional advice. The Service may produce content that is:

• Fictional, speculative, or inaccurate.
• Based on publicly available data, myths, and folklore.
• Not suitable as a basis for real-world decisions.

You use AI-generated content at your own risk. We are not responsible for any decisions made based on the Service's output.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, its design, code, and branding are the intellectual property of Brady Yaddof. AI-generated analysis results are provided for your personal use. You may share or publish your results, but you may not claim ownership of the Service itself or its underlying technology.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that:

• The Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
• AI-generated results will meet your expectations or be accurate.
• Any defects will be corrected in a specific timeframe.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Brady Yaddof shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or personal injury.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Unused Scans are non-refundable upon termination for violation of these terms.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Iowa, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
